Cancellation and Refund Policy

At Uniquely Morocco, we plan every private tour around your dates, your guide and your vehicle, so we ask each traveler to read this policy before booking. It explains what you can expect back if your plans change, and how we handle cancellations on our side. If anything here is unclear, contact us before you book and we will walk you through it.

Payment for your tour is due in full at the time of booking to confirm your dates, your guide and your vehicle.

We understand that travel plans can change. Refunds on the full amount you paid are calculated based on how much notice you give us before your tour is scheduled to begin.

You will receive a full refund of the total amount you paid.

You will receive a 50% refund of the total amount you paid.

You will receive a 25% refund of the total amount you paid.

No refund is available at this stage. By this point we have confirmed and paid for accommodations, desert camps, drivers and other services on your behalf, and these costs cannot be recovered.

Some elements of a tour are booked with outside suppliers well in advance and carry their own cancellation rules. This can include desert camp reservations in Merzouga, riads and hotels booked at a promotional or non refundable rate, hot air balloon rides, train tickets and internal flights. Where a supplier does not refund us for a cancelled service, we are not able to refund that portion of your payment regardless of how much notice you give. We will always tell you in advance if part of your itinerary falls under this rule.

If your plans shift, we would rather move your tour than cancel it. We are happy to reschedule a booking to new dates at no extra charge when you give us at least 15 days notice before the original start date, subject to guide, vehicle and accommodation availability on the new dates. A date change requested with less than 15 days notice is treated as a cancellation under the schedule above, and a new booking is required for the revised dates.

If the number of travelers in your group changes after booking, the tour price may be adjusted accordingly, since our per person rates are based on group size. Reducing your group size close to departure may also reduce or eliminate the refund available for the travelers who drop out, following the cancellation schedule above.

On rare occasions we may need to cancel or significantly change a tour due to circumstances beyond our control, including severe weather, road closures, government restrictions, civil unrest, natural disasters or other events of force majeure. If we cancel your tour for these reasons, you will receive a full refund of all amounts paid, or the option to reschedule to a later date at no extra cost, whichever you prefer. We are not responsible for related costs you may have already paid to other providers, such as international flights, other hotels or travel insurance premiums, which is why we recommend travel insurance for every trip.

If we need to cancel for operational reasons within our control, such as a minimum group size not being met on a shared departure, we will offer a full refund or the choice to move to an alternative date.

Refunds are returned using the same method you used to pay, whether that was bank transfer, PayPal or another agreed method. Please allow 7 to 14 business days for a refund to reach your account after it is approved, since bank transfers and PayPal both take time to process on their end. Any bank or payment processing fees deducted at the time of your original payment are not refundable.

We strongly recommend that every traveler purchase travel insurance that covers trip cancellation, medical costs and delays. Morocco is a safe and welcoming destination, but insurance protects you against the unexpected, from a missed connecting flight to a change in your personal circumstances, in ways that our cancellation policy is not designed to cover.

To cancel a booking or ask about a refund, contact us directly rather than through a booking platform, so we can confirm your dates and process your request as quickly as possible.

We will confirm receipt of your cancellation request in writing and let you know the refund amount and timeline that applies to your booking.

If you booked your tour through Viator, TripAdvisor, tourHQ or another third party platform, that platform's own cancellation and refund terms apply to your booking, and you should request your cancellation or refund through that platform. This policy governs bookings made directly with Uniquely Morocco through our website, email or phone.

This policy was last updated in September 2026. Uniquely Morocco reserves the right to update this policy at any time, and the version published on this page at the time of your booking is the version that applies to your tour.
